BIOGRAPHY

Mylène Chamblain is a French-born, Belgium-based singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer whose music moves effortlessly between Americana, Blues, Rock and Folk. Blending raw authenticity with emotional depth, she has developed a distinctive sound that is both timeless and contemporary.

Born in 1980, Mylène Chamblain, also known as Mylène L. Chamblain, began writing songs and singing at the age of 13 in France before settling in Belgium more than twenty years ago. Her debut album, Hold Fast (2004), produced with Bernard Sellam and Stéphane Bertolino (AWEK) and recorded by Roger Shepherd (EMI Glasgow) in Toulouse, led to performances at major festivals across France, Belgium and Lithuania, as well as tours throughout the United Kingdom and the United States.

After a ten-year break from recording, Mylène returned with renewed inspiration. Her EP Body & Soul (2021) received strong support from Belgian national radio station Classic 21, introducing her music to a wider audience. Since then, she has steadily built a reputation on the European roots music scene while also collaborating as a songwriter with the Belgian band Plain Jane.

In 2023, Mylène performed at the Classic 21 Festival, sharing the line-up with artists including Ghalia Volt, Boogie Beasts, Sharko and K's Choice, and later opened for the Scottish band Big Country.

Her second full-length album, Drive Me Mad (2025), confirmed her artistic direction, blending Americana, Blues Rock and Folk influences with modern production and deeply personal songwriting. The album has received airplay in Belgium, France, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States, while Mylène continues touring both solo and with her band.

Now working on her third studio album, Wild Echo, Mylène continues to explore themes of freedom, resilience and the human journey through songs that connect heartfelt storytelling with powerful, roots-inspired musicianship.

Today, Mylène is working on Wild Echo, her upcoming album—a deeply personal collection of songs inspired by long roads, human connections and the echoes that every journey leaves behind.
