" She's an established artist who has a great musical career, especially internationally (USA, England, France, etc.) , says Madeleine, who discovered her on Classic 21. We wanted to program her. She has experience. She was strongly influenced by the blues of the first black Americans of the 19th century and by the rock of the 70s ."

While these styles inspired Mylène Chamblain, " she has a signature style all her own ," insists Madeleine Darasse. The artist will be at the Cave with her full band. Among the musicians present: Brussels-based harmonica player Geneviève Dartevelle, who is a regular at the venue.

Another concert is scheduled for the fall: that of Chris Jagger, brother of the Rolling Stones frontman . Initially scheduled for September, it will finally take place on Saturday, October 18 at the Cave. " The date was pushed back because he wanted to combine it with others, in Holland and elsewhere. He has already been here several times. People remember him and want to see him again. We already have quite a few requests. "

Madeleine Darasse insists: " On stage, he is not the brother of... He has his own style." He will be accompanied by a violinist, a double bassist, and a pianist, among others.

Chris Jagger regularly performs with his brother, Mick. What if he were to surprise us at the Cave? " He's welcome. He'll get fries and a beer ," jokes the owner. Depending on bookings, it's possible that Chris Jagger's performance could be split into two.

La Cave is also in talks to schedule other concerts. " We have to work around the artists' schedules, which isn't always easy. And we don't take just anyone. We want quality ." Fred and the Healers are expected to return to Hastière soon.
