Composed by Cyril Orcel (music producer and trusted creative partner for the past six years) and written by Mylène Chamblain’s, One Life was born from a desire to create a song made for the stage — and for wild open-road adventures.

Although Mylène Chamblain usually writes and composes her own songs, Cyril Orcel wanted this time to create a composition specifically for her. The result is a fiery rock track driven by a guitar riff played in unison by Mylène and Fabrice Manzini, with an energy that echoes It Drives Me Mad, rearranged for the 2025 album Drive Me Mad.

Blending timeless Motown rhythms, 80s rock and Americana, “One Life” celebrates the desire to live fully, to finally follow your own path and to leave behind everything that no longer belongs to you.

There is only one life. Yet we live a thousand lives, one at a time.

As co-arranger and lyricist, Mylène Chamblain leaves her signature on every note. Built for the live stage, but perhaps also her most radio-friendly track to date, One Life is already making a strong impact: in just one month, the song has generated more streams than the albums Drive Me Mad and Body & Soul combined.

The track carries the infectious energy that has become such a defining part of Mylène’s stage identity: powerful, free, instinctive and deeply feminine.

Following The Shadows We Bear, released in April 2026, One Life opens a new chapter. Where the previous single explored shadows and introspection, One Life chooses light, movement and freedom.

An old motel, a faded neon sign, an endless road, an engine roaring, windows wide open and the horizon as the only destination…

One Life is a road movie condensed into a few minutes. A song that doesn’t simply ask to be heard, but to be lived.

The song will be featured on Mylène Chamblain’s upcoming album, Wild Echo, scheduled for release at the end of 2026.

If “One Life” speaks to you, stay tuned for the next chapter of the story.
